Learn everything you need to know to safely and legally carry a concealed firearm in Georgia or Florida. This class covers firearm safety, proper handling, state and federal carry laws, the use of deadly force, and personal defense strategies.
No live fire is required.
NRA FIRST Steps — Pistol Orientation
A hands-on introduction to pistol shooting designed for new gun owners. Students learn firearm parts, operation, ammunition, safe handling, loading, unloading, and basic marksmanship under the supervision of certified NRA instructors.
An in-depth course focusing on handgun safety, operation, shooting fundamentals, cleaning, and storage. Ideal for individuals seeking to enhance their confidence and accuracy with a personal firearm.
➡️ Note: NRA – First Steps Pistol must be completed before enrolling in Basic Pistol.
Defensive Pistol – Level One
(Not Marksman Course)
An introductory defensive handgun course that builds on the fundamentals taught in Basic Pistol. Students learn safe, practical defensive techniques including grip and stance for defensive shooting, efficient drawing and presentation from the holster, sighted and point-shooting methods, immediate action/malfunction clearance under stress, and basic movement and cover techniques. The course emphasizes decision-making, threat recognition, and safe application of force in defensive contexts.
➡️ Recommended prerequisite: Basic Pistol (and NRA – First Steps Pistol before Basic).
Defensive Pistol – Level Two
(Not Marksman Course)
An advanced defensive handgun course designed to enhance the skills learned in Level One. Students will engage in more complex live-fire drills emphasizing multiple-target engagement, movement, use of cover and concealment, low-light and flashlight techniques, and stress-based decision-making. This course is focused on sharpening speed, accuracy, and tactical awareness in real-world defensive situations.
➡️ Prerequisite: Defensive Pistol – Level One must be completed before enrolling in Level Two.
NRA – First Steps Rifle
A beginner-friendly course introducing rifle safety, handling, and marksmanship fundamentals. Students learn about different rifle types, ammunition, and how to sight in and shoot accurately.
Basic AR
Explicitly designed for AR-platform owners, this class covers setup, function, maintenance, sighting systems, and safe handling procedures, along with practical drills for confidence and performance.
➡️ Note: NRA – First Steps Rifle must be completed before Basic AR.
NRA – First Steps Shotgun
An introductory class focusing on shotgun safety, operation, ammunition selection, and shooting fundamentals. Great for those new to shotguns or looking to refresh their skills.
Basic Shotgun
Comprehensive training in shotgun handling, shooting techniques, cleaning, and defensive applications. Excellent for both home defense and sporting use.
➡️ Note: NRA – First Steps Shotgun must be completed before Basic Shotgun.
Home Protection
Focused on defense inside your home, this course teaches safe firearm storage, threat assessment, defensive tactics, and how to create a home safety plan that protects your family and property.
A non-shooting course that teaches students how to safely handle, unload, and store firearms in the home. Perfect for new gun owners or anyone seeking greater confidence in firearm safety.
NRA Marksman Qualification
This program allows students to build shooting skills and earn official NRA marksmanship ratings. Training is customized per student, with measurable goals for accuracy and consistency on the range.
NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO)
Become a certified NRA Range Safety Officer. Learn how to supervise range operations, enforce safety procedures, conduct safety briefings, and ensure a secure shooting environment for all participants.
Women’s Only Concealed Carry
A relaxed, supportive class designed specifically for women. Covers firearm safety, concealed carry methods, situational awareness, and state laws — taught by certified instructors who emphasize confidence and empowerment.
Personal Protection Inside The Home
Focused defensive training for homeowners and family members, this course teaches defensive shooting techniques, home defense strategies, threat assessment, movement and cover inside the home, safe firearm storage, and the legal and moral aspects of using deadly force. Students will practice realistic drills during the live-fire portion to build decision-making and marksmanship under stress.
Personal Protection Outside The Home
This advanced defensive program expands on the skills learned in the “Personal Protection Inside The Home” course. It is divided into two progressive levels designed to improve real-world defensive capability and confidence in public settings.
➡️ Level One:
Nine-hour course — Seven hours of classroom instruction and two hours of live-fire training.
Students learn advanced situational awareness, threat avoidance, drawing from concealment, defensive shooting techniques, movement, and engagement strategies for public or outdoor environments.
Level One must be completed before taking Level Two.
➡️ Level Two:
Five-hour advanced course focused entirely on live-fire exercises.
Students apply the skills learned in Level One during intensive, realistic scenarios involving movement, cover, multiple threats, and decision-making under stress. This course refines defensive marksmanship and reinforces tactical awareness.
Prerequisites: Personal Protection Inside The Home must be completed before enrolling in Personal Protection Outside The Home (Level One).
Level One must be successfully completed before Level Two.
