Online, FFL to FFL, & Private Sale Transfers
 

We value your time and have designed our process to be open by APPOINTMENT ONLY for online firearm transfers* & private sale** transfers. This ensures that you receive our full attention and have a smooth and efficient transaction experience.

GA Residents only.

Handguns, Rifles, Shotguns – Fee: $20 Per Firearm

Other Firearms*** – Fee: $30 Per Item

Private Sale – Fee: $10 Per Firearm / $15 Per Other Firearm

NICS Background Check – Fee: $5

Transfer fees are waived for all First Responders, Military & Leo. NICS Fee Applies.

All fees are CASH ONLY. All payments are made before a NICS check (background check) is conducted. All individuals will be required to undergo a NICS Check, regardless of whether they hold a GA-Weapons Carry License (WCL). A background check fee is applied to every transaction. Law Enforcement, with approved letterhead from the Sheriff or Chief, is the only exemption.  Multiple transactions that require additional background checks will incur a background fee.

All Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. No transfer fee for law enforcement, military (active or retired), fire/EMS (paid & volunteer). The background check fee still applies.

Firearms and Other Firearms can only be transferred to the individual named on the invoice sent to us. Any firearm/other Firearm not picked up within thirty (30) Days becomes the Property of M&B Guns & Ammo LLC.

ANY FIREARM RECEIVED WILL NOT AND/OR CAN NOT BE RETURNED TO SENDER. A DENIED NICS CHECK ON AN INCOMING TRANSFER WILL FORFEIT THE FIREARM/OTHER FIREARM & BECOME PROPERTY OF M&B GUNS & AMMO LLC AFTER THE APPEAL DATE HAS EXPIRED.



 

Gunsmithing

A background check (NICS Check) is not required if the firearm/other firearm is returned to the individual who supplied it for service or repairs. Suppose the items are picked up by another individual (with verifiable consent). In that case, the individual must complete a 4473 form, pass a background check, and pay the associated background check fee before being released. Any firearm or Other Firearm not picked up within thirty (30) days becomes the property of M&B Guns & Ammo LLC.

* An online firearms transfer/out-of-state transfer requires you to purchase a gun from an online dealer/auction or out-of-state and have it shipped to a local licensed gun dealer (FFL) for the transfer. You will then go to the local FFL, complete an ATF Form 4473, undergo a background check, and then you can pick up the Firearm. Federal law mandates this intermediary step to ensure a legal and secure transfer of ownership and to prevent illicit sales.

** For private firearms transfers, we prioritize safety and security. While it's not a legal requirement, we strongly advise conducting a background check. This additional step can be facilitated through FFL Dealer, providing peace of mind that the recipient is not a prohibited person.

*** An 'other' firearm is a category for weapons not classified as a rifle, shotgun, or handgun. This includes unique or specialized firearms that may not fit into the traditional categories, ensuring all your firearm transfer needs are covered.
